Any idea who carries that Serotta head tube extender that you mentioned in a post down below?

See the attached link to the "Serotta Store" which can be accessed from the Serotta site.

You could order one through the store at the serotta web site, www.serotta.com -- or through a nearby serotta dealer. Should be a list of dealers on their website as well. I think the extender costs about $60. Remember, it fits between the headtube and the top of the headset, so your steerer tube has to be long enough to accomodate it. What it does mainly, is elminate the need for 2 cm of spacers.

There's a possability that I will want to use one of these on the bike I am building.

Initially, I plan to cut the steer tube plenty long and stack spacers to see where I like my bar height. If I have more then 20mm between the stem and HS I might use one of these head tube extenders instead because looks like it would be a stiffer setup.

Thanks again, I didn't know these things existed.

Serotta will custom paint it to match your frame if you are willing to pay for it. Call them if you are interested.

My frame is Ti, that extender should match real well as is.

Thanks!
