Does anyone elses bike lean slightly to one side when riding straight? what's it likely to be? saddle appears straight, wheels are squarely in the drop-outs, frame is good quality & almost brand new with no crashes. Or just a case of one buttock being bigger.......?

Yup, I think I lean to the right a degree or so. May be due to different leg length, and shoulder position. Ask any good tailor and he'll tell you that everyone has a high shoulder (as well as dressing 'right' or 'left'). That would tilt things a bit.
Bike lean. Rider fat. But it's only February. Seriously, thoughcory

Me, too. I noticed it a couple of years ago when I ran through some water and the front tire dried faster just to the left of the center of the tread than to the right. Apparently I lean slightly to the left. Doesn't seem to bother anything, and I figure if it took me 25 years to notice, it's not serious.

I wonder if the left lean may be due to the road crown.
