NOTE! This is not directed at High Gear....

I hate jackasses that pull this crap on ebay. Big Freaking letters saying NO RESERVE! Wow, what a deal! I may be able to pick up that frame for like $50.... oh wait, there is a freaking reserve! It's $550 where the auction starts. Someone who knows something about auctions needs to teach the jackasses at scambay what "no reserve" actually means.

OK, I am climbing off my soapbox now, but it irritates me to see outright deception in ebay ads. And it just makes me wonder what other misrepresentations they have in that add???

Well, aparently while climbing up on my own little soapbox, I also probably put a foot in my mouth too. I did some more reading and I just found out that the guy selling this frame is a respected member here, and I am a relatively new I probably just made a whole slew of people's turd list, but I still think if you want to run a "no reserve" auction, then dammit, start it at a buck.....

Anyways, if Sherpa23 is reading this, sorry... I was speaking out in general, and I wasn't trying to single anyone out personally. That's why I started my post with the line about not being directed to High Gear, as I thought he might have been the ebay poster.

Cheers all, and sorry if I offended anyone with my ebay views.

I think Sherpa23 is probably the only pro racer on this board. I have read in the past that he is close friends with Jonathan Vauters, so it makes sense that he would help him sell the frame.
