I've seen it / fondled it in person at VeloSwap and daggone is it nice. It's a bona fide CA team issue one-off, by the way.
Do you think sherpa23 is....Cheezhead

Jonathan Vaughters himself?? I remember a while back he was also selling another of JV's bikes. He's never revealed his identity to us, but he has said that he's done a lot of racing internationally in europe. What do you think are the chances....

Not JV, merely a good friend. Sherpa23 prefers to remain anonymous but he does happen to be my coach.
And he did post a picture of himself....853

plus he's too powerful to be JVweiwentg

he described TCRs as flexy - something only a powerful rider using a large frame would do. plus he does track.

The Sherpa is not a huge dude at all. He's 5'7 or 5'8 and 145#. That being said, he has an impressive set of quads (his leg is the one on the recent Excel catalog), and he is quite powerful, forget what he said his peak power was but I've seen SRM readings off his bike that make me cringe. He's done interval training jumps while riding with me, and it's like watching a Ducati accelerate from a stop light (speaking of which, the Sherpa just got one, the poohead). In 3 pedal strokes, he can lay down a 20 meter gap on me like I'm going backwards, no matter what I'm doing.
Is this him???Cheezhead

I had heard his SRM readings, which probably made me think he was MUCH more than 145.
I guess I had better hit the gym...
