if you're looking for cut finger glove check Performace. Not sure about model name Century(?). I've used a pair on long century-double+ rides. They're inexpensive ~15$, have thick padding on palm and well padded btw fingers.

My hands are particularly susceptible to numbness, and the PI Gel Lite works better at cushioning than any glove I have tried. They also fit nice and hold up well. I've got some of the Specialized BG gloves as well, and they are not nearly as comfortable as the PI for me. I've got both the full- and half-fingered versions of Gel Lite. Performance often has them on sale for about $30.

I used to use the Gel Lites, but they changed the padding pattern for 2003. They don't put padding between the thumb and fore-finger anymore, which sucks since that's where I need it most when riding on the hoods.

Man those gloves suck. I am thinking of sending them back to PI and asking for a new pair. What the hell were they thinking.

DO NOT BUY THOSE GLOVES!!!!!!

I tried the Trek Moby Gel glove on the recommendation of a LBS employee and love them. They replaced an older pair of PI Gel gloves. I'm planning on buying another pair this season as a backup and just in case they decide to change the design.
I use these, they are great and are well padded-nmbenja15

just a pet peeve of mine whenever I see a nice bike with light colored tape ridden by a gloveless rider.

naturally, the tape is real nasty from sweat and dirt ground in. get black tape!

I like the santini gloves. The quality is real good and padding is just right for me, not to much or too little. Some would say there is no such thing as too much padding. Worst glove i own is giordana.
