It's a 70's Panasonic. I had it powder coated for $60.

Close up of the head tube/top tube lug.

Rear dropouts.

The powder coat is a two step process, gold over black. It's textured, like worn pewter. It's certainly different. Not sure if I like it or not. It's kind of an experiment. How do you like it?

... it is an interesting color... kinda reminds me of some custom work I've seen (only with either colored or chromed lugwork to offset).

I'm sure it'll be fine once properly dressed!

Be the bike.

It's not as dimpled as a golf ball but definitely some texture. You can feel it.
where did you have it powder coated? nmJS Haiku Shop

I wasn't necessarily looking for an anti-bike look but that's how it turned out. It's different, unique, but not so far out as to draw stares. Maybe it will get people thinking of alternatives that go beyond the Colnago style.
looks like weathered, hammered bronze. way cool! nmJS Haiku Shop
