Helmet mount light useful for finding roof leakcommuterguy

Haven't used my helmet (or bike) for many weeks, due to the weather. (I live in DC area.) However, I found my helmet mounted light very handy when part of a ceiling got very soggy. Turns out I have a slow leak in my roof (might only be manifest when snow > 1 ft.). Not having to hold flashlight as I crawled around in my attic was very convenient.

Just thought you would like to know, in case you, like me, frequently need all the arguments you can get when discussing bike-related expenditures w/ your SO.
Pretty good for loose gutters too. Why aren't you riding?MB1

We tried the Capital Crescent Trail yesterday. Only the first half mile has been plowed so if you rely on it you are are going to have a long wait.

This is really getting old. Good thing we are crazy.

I find it pretty hard to drive right now. Not only is the shoulder under ice, but typically the right-most 1-2 feet of the right lane is also gone. I just don't think it would be safe.

Also, I have a pretty bad chest cold. I generally go along conventional wisdom about riding with colds: anything above the neck, it's OK; if it's below the neck, stay home.

I saw the Bethesda end of the CCT yesterday and was most distressed. Not a hint of blacktop to be seen anywhere. And more snow in the forecast.

Maybe I should break down and get some rollers........
