| Geo HP photos. | fcebedo Feb 24, 2003 11:07 PM | | The UPS guy delivered a package today and I had to give the digital camera a workout. The paint is nicely done and the 'octagonal' carbon tubes are impressive.
With my digital fish scale, the 54cm C40 frame is heavier than expected at 2 lbs 14 ounces. The fork is 15 ounces.
The frame is my superathlete neighbor, Jill. She's only been riding 2 years on a cannondale but she did 4 double centuries last year and this year she's racing Cat 3.

| Shouldn't you take it out of the box first??? | biknben Feb 25, 2003 5:33 AM | | You took pics of all six sides of the box???
Sorry couldn't resist :-)
Try again. I'm interested to see the HP with that paint scheme. |
| re: Geo HP photos. | african Feb 25, 2003 10:18 AM | | I have a GEO dream plus, and I rode next to a bike like yours here. I have to say great bike but I think the paint is dull compared to the dream. This must be as it is on carbon as opposed to alum. Still great ride and enjoy. |
| Gorgeous! | Bonked Feb 25, 2003 10:26 AM | | Just got an LX14 C40, but still lust after the Geos every so often! |
| Gorgeous! | fcebedo Feb 25, 2003 10:35 AM | | Likewise. The GEO is such a striking color scheme that it's good to know it exists. And I imagine myself owning one. I'm not sure though that I can live with it everyday.
It seems like the 2003 is a little more reserved (more black) than previous years.

| Look better in real life | pmf1 Feb 25, 2003 1:53 PM | | I have a OOF and regretted the choice as soon as my wife's LX-14 came out of the box.
How about some pictures of Jill, too? |
| uhh Jill, yes. | fcebedo Feb 25, 2003 2:13 PM | | Here's the rightful owner of the Geo. She borrowed a bike for this team photo shoot. |
