Was i the only one surprised after voting in the poll? According to the results %21 is less than 100 lbs? That just seems a little odd to me, i expected the majority to be between 165-180 but %21 of the vote UNDER 100 lbs?

Has Calista Flockhart taken over RBR?

BTW... totally unrelated, my new bike is on the way. Its custom from Trek for our team, 5500's with the US postal frame paint, but without the US Postal sticker, shimano sticker, volkswagon sticker, and without the addition Trek logo on the top tube. Also the Chainstays i believe are painted black with our team name written in cursive on the top tube in white with riders names on the chainstays. Ill be sure and post a pic when i get it :-)
How much extra did you have to pay?hycobob

A riding buddy had to pay Trek extra money to get a 5500 without stickers. Trek figured it was the same as their "custom" paint. His wife got the sweet "Pave Flame" paint scheme, and he got a plain old black paint job for the same price...go figure? Sound familiar Tig?

Actually our team paid $2000 for the bikes with the custom stuff, they custom speced our stems to 140mm for me, handlebars to the desired width (which they dont normally do) gave us all 52 tooth big chainrings (who here can really sprint a 53x12 to 95-110 rpms?) and they are gonna professionaly face and tap the bottom bracket? or something like that... idk much about bike mechanics. I cant wait to get mine!
Sounds ile a helluva deal!hycobob

I was about to pick up a demo 5200 w/ultegra for $1860 rideout price, and they wouldn't even replace the flat demo rear tire. So with that kind of LBS service, at the last minute I decided to get a Sampson Silverton w/DA instead for about $600 more. I didn't have to worry about all of the stickers that way. I wouldn't mind sending the frame off to Leni Fried to get Ti-Dyed though. Something cool about being a standout at rides. Happy riding...
