Kristin, house from the outside....(not bike related)african

I ride from here on the weekends, the brick road wakes me up. Yes I have a SUV. A bike does not fit in a rice rocket.

in fact, i can get two bikes, two very large riders (me included), and a weekend-out-of-town-cycling-road-trip's worth of gear into my little 2-door honda civic. this does not include the use of any exterior racks, and i pack **heavy**. i was successful in this endeavor twice last year.

the secret seems to be taking off wheels and putting the bikes across the back seat facing opposite directions, generous use of towels and blankets, back seat seatbelts, and packing the trunk like starving musicians on a road trip in a very small van (been there, too).

it can be done, and almost comfortably.

You must share your secrets?Kristin

My car is bigger than yours--Saturn L series--and I have no idea how I'd get 2 bikes INSIDE of it. But I'd like to. I wanted to take another friend to a ride downstate and don't really want to install a roof rack. So tell me your secrets?

I live in Aurora. If I could live anywhere I wanted--but was not allowed to leave Chicagoland--then I'd live first in Glen Ellyn, second in Geneva, and third in Northbrook.
Nice looking place (nm)js5280

I am an east coast girl, so stucco (stucko?) is not something I've ever seen much of--and I tend to favor framed houses--but your place is really cute. Its got some character. That cobble stone does look painful. At least its consistent though. Have you ever ridden on a long paved street with deep cracks or seams every few feet? God, after 20 minutes of that I'm ready to ride myself right into a wall. We forgive you for owning an SUV. ;-)

So what style are you going to decorate in? Or nothing that fancy?

Kristin, there is a local triathlon here, St Anthonys Olympic distance race and it has brick sections on the bike, ohh it is brutal. It is a debris field of bike stuff after the race.

Decorate, oh my gosh. I am a guy. I have beer bottles on display (kidding). I keep things real simple, I actually have no idea.
