|I'm going to be spending a couple of days in Pleasanton, CA next week and I'd like to find a place to rent a bike to keep up my training. Does anyone know of any shops that might have "demos", rentals or could give me a loaner for a ride or two? I'm looking for something in a 62cm.

|Local shops to contact:
Livermore Cyclery (Dublin) (925) 829-4310
California Pedaler (Danville) (925) 820-0345
Bicycles Pleasanton (Pleasanton) (925) 248-2453
Dublin Cyclery (Dublin) (925) 828-8676
These shops are all in and around Pleasanton. I don't know whether any of them can help you out but its a place to start.

|I used to live in Pleasanton, and I had nothing but bad experiences with Bicycles Pleasanton. i.e. The owner wanted to charge me $25 and have me leave my rear wheel there overnight just to loosen the lock ring on the casette.
Anyway, I highly recommend Real Bicycles, which is also in Pleasanton. Their phone number is 925-847-0847.

|Thanks phlegm that's good to know about Bicycles Pleasanton. I don't have much experience with the shops in Pleasanton. I'm a bit further North in Danville. Livermore Cyclery in Dublin is solid. I figured more shop options increased the possibility of finding a shop that was willing to rent/loan bikes.|
|Thanks for all the help, but nobody has a 62cm for me to ride.||ATLien|

|Guess I'll just have to suck it up for a few days and do a little running instead!
