Your thoughts on Briko helmets???(3 posts)

Your thoughts on Briko helmets???kushogun

Was curious if anyone had any experience with the Briko Twinner or the new "Solo." I have heard in the past as long as you are in motion, the Twinner will keep your head nice and cool, but when you stop, the heat begins to build due to a lack of places for the hot air to escape = hot head. The new Solo has many more exhaust ports along with the dual cap/Venturi effect technology. Was curious if this makes a difference? I have the giro pneumo right now. Looking for something a bit unique. Don't get me wrong, I love my pneumo, but team colors have changed and I am in the market for a new lid. If all else fails I'll get another pneumo in different colors, but thought i'd try and be a bit original this go around if possible. Keep the rubber side down!

I have two briko twinners, a giro, and a rudy project. They are all nice but i find myself with the twinner the most. I don't think it is any warmer than any other helmet. You would like it i think.

I use the Twinner and like it alot. The air flow is good and I've never had a "hot head" problem. Most importantly, I tried the pneumo and Bell's Ghisallo, but I liked the melon coverage and protection the Briko gives.
