|i've never purchased any bike equipment online, and i'm wondering which site(s) typically have the best prices. also, do you find that these sites offer better prices than your LBS? thanks for your help|

|Yes the online retailers offer better deals than your LBS. I really like Excel sports. They ussually have very good prices and their shipping is reasonable. They also have a great return policy. I also like bike nashbar and Totalcycling.com. Totalcycling is in Belfast, Ireland, but they have such good prices on items like Sidi shoes that it makes the $24 shipping charge worthwhile. Their shipping is also very fast. DHL is the company they use, got an item to me in St. Louis 3 days after I ordered it.|

|European retailers may offer the best prices, but also I keep an eye out for sale items from retailers ranging from Nashbar to Performance to Excel to Supergo.
I've only bought components and esp tires online, always saving money. More than that, I have a certain laziness as far as driving to shop. I hate it!! So I'm a big online buyer.
