|Best booties / shoe covers?||BergMann|

|I'm looking for a good pair of shoe covers for winter riding in (mostly dry) 30-50 degree weather.
Ideally, I'd like to be able to put these on both my MTB and road shoes, and I'd like some measure of waterproofness.
My old stretch-entrant Pearl Izumi booties just gave up the ghost. Although they did a good job against the wind, they soaked up water like a sponge and had a non-adjustable, road specific fit.
Do any of the booties out there with adjustable velcro closures actually do a good job of keeping out water and wind?
If anyone can help me do better this time around, I'd appreciate your advice.

|If it's really cold I pull a pair of old thick socks with a cleat area cut out over my shoes, then pull over the Totes. If it's really, really cold I put a handwarmer between two pari of socks before putting on my shoe. I look real fred, but my feet are always warm and never limit the time I ride.|| |
