sunday i rode 2 hours in big, fat flakes, and came home with shoes full of melted snow. yesterday i rode ~2 hours in shorts and 55*F sun...and oh boy, what an average speed difference!

what gives with this weather?

then again, we get that kinda weather in elvisville year-'round: it could be 70*F & overcast downtown, and 50*F & sleeting in the 'burbs. ugh!

Good pictures - I'm very familiar with your route, but not on my commute. It was a very clear day today, and the Olympics were out clearly to the west on my ride through Myrtle Edwards Pk!
Or the gratuitous shot of "Waiting For The Interurban"?? nmRhodyRider

All of my remembered life, until college was spent in Washington. I'm in PA now, and while I am pretty sure of not returning there to live, I miss the mountains and beautiful days (when its not raining). WA is a great place, I'll visit often, especially to see my Mom and old buddies. But thanks, it choked me up with memories.

Almost made me cry too, but for different reasons. I was at school today until 10 o'clock tonight and was wanting SOOOO BADLY TO RIDE. You lucky (insert unkind word here).

Funny since I've seen all of those spots on my last two rides... Oh well, maybe next weekend (as in after Pres. Day) the weather will equal todays and I'll go for a ride.

Happy Trails.
Oh Seattle looks nice. How about a wet day report? nmMB1
