Spinergy Rev-X hissing through rim!!!! Help!Money D

After having my road bike sitting unused mounted in the trainer, I decided to change tires to at least work on the bike since there is still snow on the ground. I mounted the new michelin on the front and pumped it up. There was a hiss other than from the pump, and I thought that I had punctured the tube. Upon closer inspection, my front Spinergy Rev-X rim has a 10mm long, .01mm wide space right at the narrow aero part of the rim (furthest from the tire, where the two sides of the rim meet). Since the replacement value is like $300, anyone have any recommendations? Anyone have a similar experience? I'll call Spinergy when I find their number.
Thanks.
