|Mounting a computer on an Intergralter... suggestions??||JBergland|

|I'm planning to try an Intergralter handlebar-stem combo this year. For anyone that hasn't seen one of these, here's a link: http://www.peddlers-international.co.uk/html/Cinelli_Handlebars.htm
Cables are routed inside and provide a very clean aero look. But what to do with the computer?? The tops of the bars won't work. Can't seem to fit anything inside the stem. What to do?? Any and all suggestions are welcomed!!

|I've considered that one/doing something like that... but with the 'unique' mounting system that comes with the Flight Deck, it starts to look a little cumbersome.

|I'm really leaning towards an Intergralter for the Dream.
Okay, here's a dorky question - how does one (or does one) wrap a set of Intergralters? Any slick tricks from those who've got them? I assume you'd just wrap the drops, a'la old-school trackies.
ten years in the industry and I am still a Fred, sheesh.

|and do your homework. i was also considering this for the merckx elite i'm building up, but at that price, i think i'll search out an alter stem and stick with a no-flash handlebar.
on wrapping, all the pics i've seen show the trackie wrap--drops only. if you're cool enough to be riding an integralter, you shouln't be on the hoods or tops, ever. ;-)

|I have thousands of miles on an Integralter and found them to be AMAZING bars in every way. I taped them starting just above the hoods and mounted the computer head on the left side (preference) of the stem on the flats using 3M VHB tape. It is soft, waterproof and will NOT come loose. I can mail you a strip as it is hard to find and very expensive.
Good choice on the Inter by the way. I found them to be the most useful, comfortable and stiff bars I have ever used and love the feel of the upper flats too. I sold mine on my old bike but will absolutely have them on my new Santa Cruz Roadster.

|Checkout the Cinelli Checkpoint. Cbike sells it for $24.95. It is designed to mount a computer on the Intergralter.|| |
