To the homebrew lubricant cooks: do you add Teflon ?PeterRider

I've noticed that some manufacturers add Teflon, since it is a good lubricant and not degraded fast like waxy compounds.

If yes, what and where do you buy it ?

Thanks,

I use three parts mineral spirits to one part Synthetic motor oil (Mobil One)
Lube & wipe, and wipe after rides.

I use the same 3-to-1 (OMS & Mobil1) ratio as picshooter. I usually reapply every 150 miles or so, more often if wet or dusty. I don't see any increase in wear over storebought stuff, but I don't try to squeeze every last mile out of a chain either. Afterall, its just a chain.
