|Ultegra lever switch to DA||Lionel|

|I have decided to change my Ultegra levers. The rattling is driving me nuts. My Ultegra are about 4 years old. I also use a flight deck computer, this version is the one where the two buttons for control are on the right lever.
Few questions I have :
1- Are the new levers solving the rattling problem ?
2- Can I go to Dura-Ace levers (I have a triple) ?
3- What happens to my flight deck now that the buttons are one on the right lever and one on the left ?
Thanks for your feedback.

|Before you switch out your levers, have you located the source of the rattling? Is it the caps 'cause there is a fix and I fixed mine. Involves getting a thin blade screwdriver under the cap and popping it off, putting some caulk on the inside of the cap and snapping it back in place. It is plastic, be gentle with the prying of the cap. Also the little screw on the underside of the lever, make sure it is tight and if loose, remove it and put on some blue loctite and put back together.
Yes, the DA trips will work, you may need to buy a new flightdeck wiring harness for the 'puter. You got the old style, they now put a button on each side.

|I have over 10K miles on this shifter and crashed on it as well. It is not only the rattling but also the basic mechanism is about to die.
Thanks for your input though.
Is the left DA working with an Ultegra triple ?
