For my senior project I was thinking of doing a bike rack for a car that usies a hitch hooke up. I was thinking of a design that holds one bike and folds up pretty small and light and coudl easily fit in a trunk or behind a seat in a pickup. Would any of you be intreasted in a design like that? Thank you
Jim

make it so that it can swing out from the hitch so you can access the gate when bikes are loaded on the rack.

If it could fold up when not in use and swing out when in use, it would be the best hitch mount out there

My design does fold up alot better then that one. it folds really small and doesnt require any tools to do so. I will deff look into one that swings out. I do not that it would be hard to modifiy my design to do so.
swinging out would be niceColnagoFE

I have problems opening the rear window when the rack is folded up or if there is a bike in the first slot.
