Should I get a 4 spoke or low spoke -deep rim wheel?PODIUMBOUNDdotCA

I'm looking at getting a new Corima wheel. I have the option of either a 4 spoke (obviously with a deep rim) which I've used in the past or a deep dish 18 spoke wheel. Looking at aero info the 18 spoke looks more aero and costs $200 less but I am still undecided. The Australian national team when they aren't using double discs use a shamal front...

I'm assuming this is for track use. I would get the 4 spoke, it's should be more aero than the spoked wheel. That said, I have the Corima Aero's (45mm rim depth - tubular) with the 18 spoke front. They've been really good wheels, still true and they slice through the wind, and they're light as hell. I had a set of older Zipps and these wheels are much higher quality, I really like Corima wheels. What I'm getting at is you can't go wrong with the Aeros. You know, Corima also makes the aero in a 12 spoke front, supposedly only for track use. Something to consider if price is important. I'm suprised the Aussie's don't use Bora wheels, especially if they have a deal with Campy.
