A lot of people have been making plans to go to Hamilton to see LA. And now he isn't competing. Personally I was looking forward to seeing him race in a WC. O well...

simply because no one has really come to expect him to race at the Worlds, regardless of where they are held.
LA has to concentrate on the TDFRaven1911

As we all know LA has to concentrate on the TDF and maybe this throws his training off or something. It sucks but I would rather see him win another TDF then in the WC. I think it will do more wonders for American cycling.

That's surprising considering the World's was one of his stated goals earlier. But didn't he do the same thing when he said he was going to the Vuelta to support Heras and then changed his mind?

It doesn't matter, I'm still going and I have my hotel room. In fact, maybe there will be cancellations so those that don't have reservations can now find rooms once the news gets out. There will be PLENTY of other big names to cheer on though and it should be great. The cycling world doesn't always revolve around Armstrong.
no problem, the rest of the world will. I won't miss him. nmSpunout
