How do you change the bulb in a NiteRider headlight?Ken of Fresno

Okay, I'm trying to open the housing on my Road Rat to experiment with different bulbs. Stupid thing. It must take some silly size allen key. 2.5mm is too small and 3mm is too big. Non-metric allens don't seem to work either. Anybody have experience with this or a similar NR light?

Thanks,
Ken

If you order the replacement bulb, the key comes with it. Just in case you don't know, the bulb, front glass, and reflector are a one-piece unit. A bulb-only won't won't fit.

Got the bulb from a local lighting store. Standard MR11 6v. Cost me all of $6, but didn't come packaged with a key. Maybe that's why NR charges $20. Thanks for the heads up.

Does the bulb come with the reflector and front glass cover?
On NR systems, with is all one single unit.
Yep. I made sure of that. Thanks again. nmKen of Fresno
