|Mario obviously proved his decision to not include his team in the 2002 tour very wrong, yet it seems the same cycle has started again with the initial team selection for this years Tour.|

|Leblanc will announce up to 4 other teams 40 days before the TdF begins.
There's still room for Mario.

|i mean it's not because he can't. he gets over the mountains in the Giro each year. it looks like cipo's open to trying some new stuff as he ages (2002 worlds for example). maybe he'll give it a try. i'd love to see cipo, zabel, mcewan, o'grady fight for the green jersey.|

|That "he won't finish excuse" is so tired and lame. He will win one or more stages (1999 he won 4). In my book if you win 4 stages in one year, you ought to be allowed to go home (or to the beach)any time you want. Heck guys have built careers on less (Chris Boardman for example). I really could care less who finishes after about the first 10 or 15. Can you tell me what place Eric Dekker (sp) finished the year he won three stages? Yeah I would rather replace Cipo' with some doofus frog who will be invisible during the whole race but finish 129th place. Please!!!
Frankly, it wouldn't be fair but the Tour would be more exciting if they made Lance stay home and invited Cipo.
