Castelli-Squadra & Voler sizing question(7 posts)

Castelli-Squadra & Voler sizing questionAndy
Jan 29, 2003 8:51 AM
Anybody wear both castelli-squadra and voler brand clothing? I am switching from the squadra gear to voler and I didn't get a chance to try on the voler stuff. I was going to purchase the same size (medium) voler gear that I wore in squadra but it looks like voler is smaller than squadra. Anybody have any experience with these two brands?

Don't know about a comparison to Castelli-Squadra, by my experience has been that Voler runs a tad smaller than most of the other brands I've tried. Not enough to go up a size, though.

Go one size bigger for Voler stuff. I wear a large in Castelli Progetto bibs and had to go with an XL in the Voler shorts. Their little sizing chart is off by a size in the shorts department.

voler sends a return envelope pre-paid for postage, and will exchange if it doesn't fit, free of charge. all my shorts these days are voler.

It's all I buy now. Luckily they make my team's gear. Fits me like a glove.
Just received an order from them today...jtferraro

bought the tights that went on sale for $50 and some arm warmers that were on sale for $17. Shipping was free, too.
