Dogs are the best training buddies. Just not so good on the road... Great for the trails though!

also am a foster home for the dachsund rescue. have a male, female dapple and an italian greyhound. dont know if you've ever had one before but if not you will find that these dogs can be persistant little buggers. my female mini will run 5 miles while i rollerblade. people are amazed and i always get "i cant believe that little dog can run that fast!!!" little do they know its not how fast, but how far. 5 miles with 6" long legs is a helluva jaunt.
