Does anyone know how the sizing/fit compares between Sidi and Shimano road shoes? I know Sidi run a small compared to Time - does the same apply to Shimano?

compared to the older shimano road shoes i wore a few years back, a shimano 46 was a bit snug where a sidi genius 4 in 46 is just loose enough to fit well before *and* after several hours of riding.

YMMV

I find a Shimano 44 fits close to a Sidi 44 - with maybe a touch more toe room in the Shimano shoes. The Colorado Cyclist chart is pretty much right on.

I would also agree the sizing between the two shoes is pretty close. I would wear a 43.5 in either, but the Shimano shoes are a little bit wider than a regular width Sidi. I have never tried the Sidi "Mega" series.

A friend of mine was thinking of buying a pair of Sidi yet they did not have his size.
