|Colnago's Ridden By Mapei Question||boneman|

|Does anyone have links or pictures of the Colnago's ridden by Mapei prior to Ernesto giving them a dedicated paint scheme?
This picture is of Oscar Camenzind in the 1998 Tour of Lombardy (which he won) after winning the World's the prior week. The paint is similar to the currently offered AD10 and at least from this view, without the Mapei graphics.
The year Mapei swept Paris Roubaix with Museeuw winning along with Tafi and Bortalami come to mind but I can't seem to find any sources and I've tried the usual locations.
One of the US bike mags had a picture of Camenzind's C40 ridden in the 1998 Worlds and it included side shots. Anyone have this pic?
Thanks in advance.

|I'm not sure that this is exactly what you are looking for, but it might be a start.
There is a six page article exclusively on the C40 in the new cyclesport magazine. It starts with Museeuw and the boys going across the line in the Roubaix velodrome, then Tonkov in the '96 Giro and then Steels in Paris-Nice. Some nice pictures, excellent article, a must for Colnagophiles...

|Ignore me, if you have checked this already: Cyclingnews.com has a few pics from that era in their 1996 photo archives. Good luck hunting!|

Many thanks. AD10 no?
I'm trying to get a 2003, non-HP B Stay painted in 1998 AD10.
We shall see if that's possible.

|I know that the B-Stay has been made with the AD-10 paint. I believe there's a photo at www.campyonly.com under the modern gallery. I just haven't seen if its being offered for 2003. Good luck!|| |
