Here is the new ride.

Picked up a new 2002 frame for a song and built it up with a new gruppo. Cant wait to ride this as soon as the weather gets a bit warmer.
Nice build. Not sloping TT? Only smaller ones? nmSpunout

I think 54cm is the cut-off for the sloping top tube. (nm)onespeed

Could you please resize your pictures to no more than 600 by 450 pixels so it will fit on most of our screens?

If you don't know how:

1.)Open picture in Microsoft Photo Editor
2.)Image
3.)Resize
4.) Width change to 600 , 100%
5.) Height change to 450, 100%
6.) Save and then post that picture.

I don't know if you have ever compared your pictures with others and noticed the screen difference. If you post a picture in the middle of a theread, the readxers have to scrool all around to both see the picture & read the postings in the rest of the thread. It's a real PIA.

Thanks

Len

is this your first Merak??? I always thought you had a Merak already by your many "Merak Record 10" endorsements. It's a sweet bike!!! Where did ya pick it up at and how much was the "song"?? Competitive Cyclist, maybe??? I just picked up a Fondriest Carb Level frame for $1500 at CC. Added a Dura Ace build kit minus the wheels and the total was $2250. Couldn't pass it up. CC currently has a blowout going on '02s and blemished frames for a smoking deal- had it been going on when I bought my Fondy I would have had a really tough choice, as the Merak is another of my favorites. A buddy of mine just couldn't pass it up and so he ordered a blemmed 45cm Merak with the D/A kit for $2500
b TOTAL!!!
Originally he got the Ultegra kit with upgrades on Spynergy Xaero wheels ($280 upcharge) and Ritchey WCS bars ($60 upcharge). It turned out it was cheaper to get the full stock D/A group. He scored bigtime. Hope you did too!!! Ride ON!!!!
