Euro Slide Showteoteoteo
Jan 23, 2003 1:31 PM
Hello all. It's time for more slideshow fun from the 2000 season. These pics aren't from my TdF Collection but are very cool anyway.

All the pics were taken by a former co-worker named Dan during the early season in Spain. Most of the pics were from Lance's 1st race that season called Setmana Catalana (sp?)

Here are the boys from Farm Frites enjoying the sun....

Unknown Kelme. I like this shot because it shows you all the old men chillin' at the race on the barricades. Most of them will talk your ear off and blow you away with their years of knowledge.

His upper arms are tiny, almost emaciated looking. Weird. Excellent shots Teo, thanks for posting so many, I know it takes a bit of time to do. Wish there was faster way (gregg?)

I thought the same thing. It's no wonder he's a climber. There's no weight to haul up that mountain.

Bathtub shot in this month's Cycle Sport . . .ms
Jan 24, 2003 12:30 PM
There is a pic of JaJa in the bathtub in this month's Cycle Sport. Compared to him, most of us probably look like Arnold Schwartzeneger -- and I can assure you that I am no Arnold. (Let's put it this way for those who remember the 1988 vice presidential debate between Lloyd Bentson and Dan Quale -- Dan Quale is more like John F. Kennedy than I, at 5'11" and 164 pounds, am to Arnold). The picture reminds me of what someone said on this board several months ago about one of the pros -- I can't remember who -- he has the arms of a 10 year old girl. But, then, I am sure that JaJa would say that my legs look like they belong to a 10 year old girl.

The workstand shown here is exactly what I am looking for. Is anybody familiar with these stands, the manufacturer and where I can get one?

thanks for more behind-the-scenes shots!velocity

For some reason, I especially like this shot. Kinda looks like my long club rides when we take a rare extended lunch break except on another plane entirely. The Burger King in the background detracts but it's a reminder of how far and wide American fast food has spread.

Those are outstanding, thanks so much!

I've always wondered what Graham Watson looked like - For some reason I pictured Gandolph or something ;-)
Superb, Excellent, Kudos, thanks! nmSintesi
