If you wanna hang out you've got to take her out; Cinelli.
If you wanna get round, round on the ground; Cinelli.
She gone ride, she gone ride, she gone ride; Cinelli.

If you got bad news, you wanna kick them blues; Cinelli.
When your day is done and you wanna have fun; Cinelli.
She gone ride, she gone ride, she gone ride; Cinelli.

If your thing is gone and you wanna ride on; Cinelli.
Don't forget this fact, you can't get it back; Cinelli.
She gone ride, she gone ride, she gone ride; Cinelli.

She gone ride, she gone ride, she gone ride; Cinelli.

.... and is flogging clapton replica's (whats up with that carpet). true eric does ride cinelli's ... i doubt that this is his though.

without any presented evidence or anecdotal histroy i dont see why this should be regarded as authentic. an engraving of "slow hand" on the stem is nothing tricky to emulate. its a nice bike but ........

a few other sites have some mentions of this cinelli being offered. quoted from a guy on the CR list .....

""I found the article in WINNING of June 1987. It says (in part), "Eric Clapton, legendary blues guitarist whose work with the Yardbirds, John Mayall, Cream and Blind Faith during the '60s established musical trends
still evident today, also had some pretty fast legs before his fingers took over and made him a star. The man .... was a promising amateur cyclist in his youth and he has maintained his fondness for cycling. Now in his forties, Clapton lives near Milan, Italy,....and is frequently seen walking through the doors of the GRAN CICLISMO shop on Via Folli. Recently he went one step further - to the Cinelli factory in Milan, where he picked up a made-to-order Cinelli Super Corsa. As per his request, the factory inscribed Clapton's bright red machine with his nickname, "Slowhand".

There is foto with Clapton and Antonio Colombo with the very, bright RED Cinelli.""

i also dont know of any super corsa's without the chrome bits this auction item is lacking. its not super easy to see from the pic (circa 1988) but it does appear to be similar. its also too cold to stand outside eric's current soho manhattan residence in vain waiting to harangue him about wether this was his ride. ...

if anyone is thinking of buying this i would suggest buyer beware. unless you happen to be a pablo escobar trust fund baby and can afford to splash out on this bike with no real provenance.

im off to listen to "disraeli gears" by Cream.

ciao
(from a former bartender who use to aid eric in acheiving his 'slowhand" with sloe gin)

p.s he mostly rides his bootleg now
