I'm just wondering what other people do during the winter to help their racing when spring comes around. I ride the rollers 3-4 times a week for about 2 hours a time(intervals, hill climbs, etc.). Then on the other 2-3 days a week I run outside. On one or two of those days I get brave and decide to run stairs at the local athletic dome. Any comments would be great!

I've been known to run, x-c ski, swim... basically anything to stay active on top of riding and weights. X-training is good base training time if you keep your HR in your aerobic zone or can also be good for building some stength/explosive power by doing stairs like your done.

Since you have 3-4 days a week of intensity I'd recommend making your runs for sure super easy. Make sure your giving yourself a day of rest though.
