Anyone Use Online Coaching?(3 posts)

Anyone Use Online Coaching?carpe_podium

I'm thinking of using either trainright or trainingbible websites. Does anyone have any experience with either of these? Just from looking at the sites, trainingbible seems like it would fit my needs. I'm more familiar with Friel's terminology too. Are these things a waste of money for us mortals? I'm currently a Cat 4, just upgraded from Cat 5 this year. I raced Cat 5 for only a year and now I'm sort of wishing I hadn't upgraded. Am I advanced enough to benefit from any of this? Thanks for any advice.

I just started my second year of using Friel's website and I think the program has really helped my performance. I raced cat 5 last year and just upgraded to 4 as well. If where you race is anything like here in northeast Ohio, most of the races mix the 4-5 groups so upgrading is really a non-issue.

What I really like about the trainingbible.com setup is that it gives you the workouts and all you have to do is schedule them into your week. It really takes all the complexity out of setting up the plan manually.

Good to hear positive comments about trainingbible. I'm going to give them a try.
