So about those CT1 welds....(3 posts)

So about those CT1 welds....collinsc

both sides of the argument are positively wicked towards each other.

I know lots of people on this board have CT1s. i know lots of people on this board have digital cameras. Ive been interested in the CT1 and Dream B-stay lately and it will be about another week before I can seem them both up close (and even then, probably only one of each), so I am wondering if someone has some GOOD pictures of the tube junctions.

Please dont start that whole Russian Ti garbage again. I dont want to hear it. I just want to see the welds.

No pictures, but I've seen the CT1 up close and carefully inspected the welds. Much better than on my 'cheap russian' cyclocross. Might be that a Merlin or Litespeed is a little better, but I could hardly see any difference when compared.

Here's a helpful linkt to Colnago sizing, has some good pictures of the welds on a Dream frame:

Nice pics, but the guy that wrote that "sizing" article certainly showed his ignorance. It's full of errors and misconceptions. Don't put any stock in it.
