Brazen Cycle Works - wheelset experience?mass_biker

Need another wheelset for a bike build project. Was considering Ultegra/Open Pros but am willing to cast the net a bit wider. Anyone have experience with Brazen Cycle Works and the wheels this fellow builds? Failing which, anyone have a good inside line for the best deal on Ultegra/ or Dura-Ace/Open Pros.

Thanks

MB, if you are near Boston, I would recommend Paramount Bicycle Repair. I have had Tyler build me 4 sets of wheels and have had no problems with any of them. He is also as nice a guy as you will find in the industry. I am a big rider at about 300 pounds. I have never needed to do more than occasional touch up. He does great work.

You can go to his site at http://www.paramountbicycle.com/ He is running a winter special of free labor on wheel builds. Just go to the specials page. He will build with any spoke rim combo you want.

Let me know if you have any questions.

I've got a set of velocity fusion wheels with the edco hubs built by Eric at Brazen. They've held up well so far. I'd use him again. My only complaint is that the edco freewheel is loud. (I know, I shouldn't be coasting). They wait time for me was 3-4 weeks but I think that I got a quality product.
