Could anyone give me a detailed road map of the Nicasio Loop using GG Bridge as the start and finish?

The easiest would be to show you, I don't remember the names of all the roads, not to mention unnamed trails and there are several options out of Sausalito. I could meet you at the GG BRidge and we could ride from there.

I just did the ride last weekend from San Rafael, beautiful, lots of green and lots of water in the form of unexpected waterfalls.

go to citycycle.com. they have group rides that leave from San Francisco on Saturday (meet at 8:30, leave at 9) and they are doing Nicasio Loop quite a few times in the coming months. just check out "events" and calendar.

good luck! hope to see ya there.

You can purchase the Marin County Bicycle Coalition Map at any Marin County and most San Francisco bike shops. it details the bike routes road and off-road.

Follow the cyclists heading North, most will be heading that direction.

There are some signs indicating the route, watch for them.

Across the Golden Gate Bridge
Down Alexander Ave to Sausalito, turns into Bridgeway Ave.
Stay on Bridgeway through Sausalito.
At the North end by the freeway entrance, get on the Mill Valley-Sauslito bike path.
At the traffic light on East Blithedale turn left (west)
1 short block later turn right on Camino Alto and go over the grade. Stay on this road, it turns into Magnolia Ave, proceed through Corte Madera, Larkspur and Kentfield.
At the 6-way stop in Kentfield (there's a gas station in front of you, take Kent Ave, it's straight but over to the left. From Kentfield you go into to Ross and past the Post Office there's a tee.
Turn left on Lauganitas go 1 block.
Turn right on Shady Lane, ride to the end.
Turn right on Bolinas Ave, then 30 feet later
1st left onto San Anselmo Ave.
Stay on San Anselmo Ave, it turns west and heads for Fairfax, just follow the other riders.
In Fairfax (past the movie theater, and "Downtown") get on Sir Francis Drake Blvd, it's on your right.
Stay on Sir Francis Drake, go over White's Hill and you are on the Nicasio Loop.
Clockwise:
Sir Francis Drake to Samuel P. Taylor Park, turn right into the park and get on the bike path.
Bike path crosses under Sir Francis Drake.
Turn right, cross the concrete bridge, then left on the Tocaloma road.
At the 3-way stop, go straight, Nicasio Dam will be on your right.
At the other end of the lake, turn right onto Nicasio-San Geronimo Road, the town of Nicasio is around 5 miles away.
Stay on Nicasio-San Geronimo Road.
Turn left on Sir Francis Drake and double back to Fairfax.
