My seatpost is seized and will not budge. I admit, maybe I did not take it out and grease as much as I should have but I promise..it hasn't been THAT long.

Anyway, it's a Thomson post stuck in a Foco Steel tube. It won't budge. I've soaked in in lube by turning the bike upside down and inserting in BB hole and still...nothing. I don't want to ruin my frame by using it as leverage..ANY advice would be greatly appreaciated!!!

Do you have access to a bench vice that is very solid? If so, turn the frame upside down and clamp the seatpost head in it. Twist the frame and yank to remove.

This is done after you have done all the proper lubrication with penetrating oil and all...
