Fair price for a 94 trek 2300 carbon/aluminum bike?mikebikes

A friend of a friend wants to sell his 94 trek 2300 for 400 bucks (including two extra wheel sets, the pedals and a computer). The bike's in great shape, but it's all original and I can't help but think that 400 bucks is a lot for a 9 year old bike.

Does anyone have input as to the value of such a bike? Any help is greatly appreciated by this novice roadie.

ThanksQ

$400 sound fair for the bike. The framesets alone sell for $200+ on Ebay. Depending on what components are on the bike, $400 is not a bad price
