What's your newest favorite item. Mine is the Nokon cable housing, but I have a set of Time Pedals that are in the running.

After 30 years of trying to warp myself to fit the bike, I finally made the bike fit me.

Swift? Professional? B-17 narrow?cyclopathic

Standard B-17 is 170mm x 280mm
B-17 narrow 155mm x 280mm
Pro is 160mm x 260mm
and Swift is 155mm x 260mm

With Ti rails Swift is the lightest of bunch but $$$; Team Pro is 115$ at www.brauns.com.

you may also consider Lepper Voyager, they're narrower at 155 x 275mm, lighter ~250g and dont cost a bunch. here's a few links..

Too bad they don't make 'em anymore.

Also like my Speedplay Frogs--even more since they redesigned the cleats.

Oh, and Shimano UN72 bottom brackets and Ultegra headsets are pretty cool. Cheap 'n good.

FOlks,
Nice suggestions, but my favourite item on my bicycle is my Record crank. When I switched over from the previous bike with Ultegra, I had no doubt in my mind that the Record crank would go on the new bike (and everything else Chorus).

The shape is mouthwatering, I see it and my heart flutters, the polish is outstanding, and the the way the crank arm covers the fifth leg is pure genius. For a while I told my self that I liked the industrial look fo the Dura Ace crank, but the Record crank is pure poetry in motion.

Kind regards,
Dimitri

I just got new MTB shoes. '03 Sidi Action 2

I used to replace MTB shoes every season. In '96 I got the Sidi Dominator shoes in the pic. I beat the crap out of them and never did more than replace the buckle once or twice. I just got another set to replace them. The old ones will still be used for the commuter or nasty conditions. Sidi makes some fine shoes.

The Giro Pneumo Helmet is a close second on my list of favorites.
