|I have a pair of Conti Ultra Gatorskins that I need to ship. Can anyone tell me if these tires can be folded or twisted to make the package smaller without compromising the tire? They seem to have a wire bead & I thought that I should ask. Thanks (I'm sticking with the GP 3000s)|

|gatorskins i believe have a wire bead and can be folded over once or twice, but not more than that. when i receive them in the mail, they're folded once. then again, i haven't bought them from a mega-volume dealer (excel sports, etc.), but from a one-guy operation--meaning he could have had them hanging unfolded until shipping.
how about sending conti an e-mail?

|We ship them with no folding. I don't think that a fold will hurt them, I have recieved wire bead tire that were folded (twisted) so i say do it!|
|FWIW, Performance just shipped some to me, folded once (nm)||vindicator|
