I have a Selle San Marco Rolls Due with the "Race day gel" I'm sure it does nothing for me and was wondering if I could cut it out without ruining my saddle and having to buy a new one.

Anyone done this? Thanks.

I did that about 5 years ago and afterward it rubbed me raw. I'd just try another saddle. Some shops are pretty open to allowing you to try and exchange. YMMV

It would be cheaper to buy a new saddle, though. Plastic surgery is expensive.
