Would there be any advantage wearing ankle weights when you're on the trainer, working on your spin? Anyone tried it?

My favorites on the trainer are one-legged riding and riding with my hands behind my back. Can't see why ankle weights would cause a problem, but life is full of surprises.
Wouldn't they cancel each other out?retro

I got a C- in Physics, but off the top of my head, seems like the one going down would counterbalance the one coming up and there'd be no net change.

When I said 'working on spin' I meant isolated leg training. That's how I work on spin. So it would be one weighted leg at a time, doing the whole circle.

I think that if you want to work on spin, then spin under conditions you will experience while riding. Instead of leg weights, I'd just use more resistance. You can always have more.
