The New Rolf Wheels........CARBON110

What do you guys think? Rolfprima.com has all the specs for the wheels. I dont know about you but I am VERY skeptical. 1250 grams for a clincher? 20f 24rear spokes is good but the rim must b so small you will need special brake pads. What about the 34mm deep clincher...1425grams with 14!!! spokes up front. I was delicate with my zipps and they weigh more and have more spokes. I really hope the Rolfs hold up for riders out there looking to push the limits. If they dont I hope its not in a race they come apart. At 127lbs race weight I wouldnt even consider these wheels...what about you?

I've seen a spoke pop on maybe a 28 spoke wheel although it's never happend to me. But what happens when youre in a sprint, weigh 200 pounds and spoke blows with 14 spoke front wheel? You probably dont know either but I suspect the worst...I hope he doesnt take me down also.

straight line, no real accelerations, no real hard turns. 14 spokes would be fine
