Got out of a jam today....rcarbs

While riding I got a flat, no problem, until I discovered that when my son used my tire levers for his bike he didn't replace them. I thought I was going to have to call him to bring them to me when I spotted my quick release lever on my rear axel. Well it worked great. I wanted to post this just incase someone else ends up in my predicament.
Have a great riding weekend.

what kinda wheels are you using? I have never needed levers except on zipp wheels which have rim thats so high you will tear your fingers off before getting your tire and tube in

That tip, and many others, can be found in the new issue of Bicycling Magazine. "101 Tips from the top wrenches in the world" or something similar is the cover story. Some dude named Gravy is on the cover. As a relative newbie, I found that there was a wealth of useful info in there. I'd recommend it it you don't already have it.
