|Just about to move to San Diego (from England) and was wondering which is a good cycling club to join? I'd like to train reasonably seriously and race, for the first time, sometime this coming season.

|Go to http://www.socalcycling.com They cover the entire Southern California racing scene, with links to virtually all the Southern California teams. There are several teams in the San Diego area. Cyclo-vets and B&L/SBC are two teams that are very active in Masters racing.|

|Just kidding, I have a few friends that are from Britain and do Triathlons. Also at work there are many employees from England. (Including my last two supervisors)
Th SoCalCyling web page should give you more than enough info about the racing scene here in SD. Many teams do the Swamis and the SDBC rides. You could start there.

|Check out usacycling.org ---- Once you work your way around the site, you can find clubs in the southern Califorinia area.
Ps. Going from somewhere that has better winters than I have, to So-Cal........ I hate you......(just kidding) !!

|I spent a week in Del Mar Heights and loved to roads and views. The Torrey Pines area looked like a wonderful place to ride (was on business, no bike). Tell us how you like it.|

|Will do. Having just spent three months mostly on a trainer (well - mostly on nothing!) I'm really looking forward to warm dry proper cycling. I'm not actually taking my bike so I have the joy of buying a new one. I'm looking forward to that even more!
