|Any problems with rider weights > 200 with speedplay pedals?
I thought I read something about this, but I cannot locate info. Also, it sounds like speedplays work with the look adapter that comes standard with sidi shoes. Is this true? Thanks in advance. SM

|You will be fine with the X2's. Your thinking of the X1's which have a 180 lbs limit with the titanium axles. I ride X1 at 170 and don't feel any flex. Play it safe and stick with the X2's. BTW I've been riding Speedplay's for over 10 years now, your going to love them!|

|I am about 200lbs...X2 sound like no restriction. Am I reading you right? Thanks. sm|
|Only restrictions on Ti axle SpeedPlays, no other. nm||gogene|

|absolutely correct. A friend of mine who goes about 225 has been riding the same set over three years and about 12,000 miles and still going strong.|

|I weigh about the same and have ridden X2's for a long time w/o problems. It is the X1's that have a weight limit, not X2 or X3.
I have Sidi Genius 3's: can't remember which adaptor I used, but it came with the cleats (I think) and works fine. I don't remember any issues in getting cleats onto shoes.
