Can anyone tell me where I could buy a pair of all white cycling shorts? I have searched the net inside-out and still cannot find them. Thanks for your help.

You might as well wear no shorts because after you wear them several times they will either become see through (don't get me wrong, you may have a nice bum) or streaked with dirt from the road it will look like you sh*t in your pants. Please! Stay with a dark colors so we don't have to see your crack sweat!

There is at least one pro team with white panels in their shorts, but I've never seen all white shorts. You would have to have them custon made, but they would only be good for riding arount at 15 MPH on very clean roads. If you ever got them dirty, that would be the end on them. I don't even want to think about what they would look like if you got caught in the rain.

If I remember right, both Voler and Castelli make white shorts, if not shorts then bibshorts anyway...but I agree with the other posters...if you think pit stains on a white t-shirt are offensive, just wait til you see all kinds of various stains on your shorts.

The sugoi ricaro technifine is made in a white model, as well as a grey and black. I'm not sure if it's men's and/or women's, but you should be able to find it. Bicycling mag had it featured a couple of months ago.

and I seem to recall that Supergo had them on sale. The salesman was really trying to convince me how much I needed these bib-shorts but I just couldn't go for the white. Didn't Robbie McKewan (sp?) sport such shorts at the TDF?

We do not allow any white-shorts-wearer to ride in front of us.

Castelli's at Excel Sportsms

I bought a pair of the White Castelli Y-2's from Excel Sports. They were on closeout in late summer, so I do not know if they have any more of them. I bought them when temperatures were in the 90s and I thought that white shorts may be cooler (temperature, not style) than my black shorts. I have found no appreciable temperature difference. I have only worn the white shorts a few times (always when the thermometer is over 90). I have not had any of the problems described above. I also think that they look good (you need a good tan for them) However, both my family and riding buddies have reacted negatively to them and refuse to be seen with me when I am wearing them. Caveat emptor.

The last thing I want to see while riding is a hotdog and
some cherries popping out of a pair of all-too-translucent
shorts. Scary kids!
