UNDER ARMOURmollythedog

I took a chance about a week ago and ordered the under armour cold gear mock t-neck. I used it today for the first time. This is by far the best cold weather undershirt that I have ever used. The weather today was about 38-47 degrees. I did a road ride for 4 hours and when I finished the shirt was a little damp, but I never felt cold. I had on a heavy longsleeve jeraey over it. the shirt fits very tight, but still comfy and warm. My chest was warm not cold like it usually is. In the past i have used patagonia's lightweight longsleeve undershirt. Which i though was great, but the under armour is by far the best for this purpose. Hope this helps anyone who is looking for a way to extend their riding season. any similar experiences out there??

Works fine as an undershirt for cold weather riding. They run big, I normally wear a large/med (39-41) but wear a small in these.

I read your post and went to Walmart, I can't find any clerks who know what I am talking about. Is this a thermal underwear type or something else. What section should I look in?

Just bought one last night. Look in Men's section, sports clothes. They are made by Starter. Sizing is weird, though. I'm 195, 5'10" and usually wear L or XL in some things. In this I wear a Medium. Fits great. Good luck!

I have the cold gear long sleeve top as well. This is the second season for this garment. Came back from a 90 minute ride in 36 degree weather and was amazed at the wicking ability. The outer jersey and vest were very wet, but my skin was just damp and I wasn't chilled. Convinced the wife that this was a "must have" for her running set up. Love this stuff!
