Am off to Adelaide (from Canberra) on Tuesday evening 24 Dec for a week. Will be taking the road bike and meeting my brother and others from here and Melbourne for a few miles in the hills.

Any Adelaide riders want to give me the good oil on 70-90km scenic spins and good short black coffees? We'll be staying close to town so if you want to meet up for morning rides email me at will@pallcare.org.au.

Sorry to hear you are off to Adelaide...

There was an interesting article in Summer edition of Ride, detailing some clubs and routes. I do not have it with me at work today, but can post them tomorrow is no-one responds.

I have the Ride mag story - it will be useful but nothing beats real local knowledge.

A joke from Melbourne: What's Adelaide? Proof Tasmanians can swim!

Honestly, compared to Canberra, Adelaide can seem lively, and I've really enjoyed my previous trips there.

It's all good.

This is great - I'm off to St. Arnaud (coming from Brisbane) - a town of 2500 persons about 120km west of Bendigo in the Wimmera - if anyone wants to hook up for a ride (I'll be at the sheep dip if you're looking for me) and a few pots let me know! Mobiles/emails don't work out there so look for the "Gone Ferral" ute with the Trek 5500 in the back.
