Anybody want to hook up for a ton of base miles. I have no idea where to ride in that area so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

There are quite a few group rides to be had here. If you're going to be in the South part of the valley (Ahwatukee, Chandler area), try the Landis Bike Shop ride. If you're giong to be up north (scottsdale), the B.O.S. ride is the one to make.
There are also good Sunday rides.
Not sure how much or what you're in for, but give Landis a call and they can help you out.

I'll ride with anybody, I wouldn't mind doing some faster racer rides on the weekends and slower long rides during the week.

Thanks for the info.

Sun City. Must be visiting either retired parents or grandparents. The surrounding areas are relatively new with good roads, but I have no idea of any group rides in that area.
Sorry, good luck.
If I have to ride 15-20 miles to get to a group ride I will.triple shot espresso

You can ride to Thunderbird park or to White Tanks.I haven't been around there in 8 years so don't know how bad traffic is.

Take Bell Rd west and it turns into Sunvalley Parkway. Take Sunvalley across I-10 to Southern Ave. Go East on Southern to Dean Rd. Go North on Dean to Yuma. East on Yuma to Cotton Lane. North on Cotton to Loop 303. Stay on Loop 303 for about 1/4 mile then back West to Cotton. Cotton lane to Northern. East on Northern 1 mile to Loop 303. North on Loop 303 to Bell. That's 66 flat fast miles. If you want to kick it to 80 miles e-mail me and I can hook you up. Hope you enjoy our "winter" weather. I had to put some arm warmers on for my 42 miler today. Temp was 55 degrees.
